Overview:

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing email campaigns that engage customers, promote products or services, and drive conversions. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills to optimize email strategies and deliver personalized messaging to a targeted audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Segment email lists based on customer behavior and preferences to personalize content.
  • Design and write compelling email copy, subject lines, and CTAs (calls to action).
  • A/B test email campaigns and analyze results to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Ensure emails are visually appealing, mobile-friendly, and align with brand guidelines.
  • Analyze and report on email campaign performance, including metrics like open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, and conversions.
  • Maintain and grow email list by executing list-building strategies and minimizing unsubscribes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, email best practices, and new technologies.
  • Work closely with the content, design, and product teams to align campaigns with business goals.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign).
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging email copy.
  • Experience with A/B testing, data analysis, and campaign optimization.
  • Understanding of email automation, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of email design best practices, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other email marketing regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS for email customization is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an e-commerce or SaaS company is advantageous.
